Wow.  Alex Furguson said a couple of weeks ago his team were going to give somebody a good thumping.  That day came on Saturday.  We were at home to West Ham.  After a sluggish first 20 minutes and a goal down Man Utd AGAIN stepped it up a gear and what a game it turned out to be!  Paul Scholes got a hat-trick, Cole got in on the act as did Beckham, Denis Irwin scored a penalty and the super sub (although call him that to his face I think you'd see the wrath of Ole!) Solskjaer to finish it off.  Seven - One.  Some of the football played was first class, it seems we are hitting form just at the right time.  Long may it continue.  Bring on Real Madrid.

Leeds were at home to Chelsea and were defeated again.  A young lad called Harley scored the only goal of the game which finished them off for the game and the season.  Will they even finish in the top three to qualify for the Champions League?  I hope not!  It's getting pretty tight for second and third place.

Liverpool were away to Coventry and got the three points.  They won 3 - 0 with Owen getting two of their goals.  They are now only one point behind Leeds and look like they just might make a Champions League place.  I suppose I have to give the Scouses their due, they seem to have hit a little consistency the latter part of this season.

Arsenal won away to Wimbledon which I think was a forgone conclusion.  It was 3 - 1 with Kanu getting two of those.  It seems they are becoming a little more consitent too. To little to late!

So the story so far is:- Man. Utd. 70 points.

                                   Leeds 60 points.

                                   Liverpool 59 points.

                                   Arsenal 57 points.
