So we drew 1 - 1 with the Scousers.  I think it was a fair result, on another day it could have been 4 -4.  Michael Owen could have done better towards the end of the match, but then again so could have Teddy.  However we are still four points clear.

David Beckham is DEFINITELY leaving Manchester United at the end of the season (according to The People).  My opinion is 'I don't think so'.  If he has any kind of brain he has to think of the long term, not the short term.  Look at it this way, you can play for Arsenal in front of 36-38,000 people or you can play for Manchester United in front of 60-62,000 people the European Champions. Is there a comparison?

Stan Colleymore scored a hat-trick today, OK we know he has had his problems and he allegedly isn't the best person to get along with but there's no questioning his ability.  Anybody who saw his first goal today can't argue with that.  To me (as a United fan) it sounds a little familiar.  Remember the press back in 1992?  Eric Canonta?  What a risk Alex Furguson is taking signing Eric.  Maybe it is the best thing that has ever happened to Leicester.

United got a deserved 2-0 victory against Bordeaux, it wasn't the best performance United have ever put in but it was effective.  Giggs and Teddy did what was necessary.

Leeds v Roma 0 - 0.  A decent defensive performance from Leeds.  Maybe a tricky home match for Leeds.

Arsenal v Deportivo 5 - 2 the jobs a goodun!  Probably aided by the sending off!
