United were at home at home to Bradford tonight.  We didn't have a 'full strength' squad out tonight but still managed to absolutely trounce Bradford 6 - 0.  Cole, Fortune (2), Sheringham (2) and finished with a solo effort from Becks.  Bradford were a little unlucky not to get one or two back but regardless, United looked good tonight.  Silvestre and Fortune had a great game.  Even Johnathon Greening (the jury is still out on this lad!) looked the part tonight.  Wallwork looked comfortable in defence.  Fabien Bartez has already won the Old Trafford faithful over, his performance tonight oozed confidence and ability and the entertainment factor was fantastic, we should have got this guy two years ago !  I know Bradford aren't the most able team in the Premiership and we expected to beat them, but unfortunately for them it was one of those nights when all players played really well and I think Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool would have struggled tonight.

Now for the shock of the night.  Man. City beat Leeds 2 - 1 away !  Who would have put money on that ?!  Granted, Leeds have a fair amount of injuries but none the less they lost to a team who got beaten 4 - 0 by Charlton three weeks ago !!!  David O'Leary was not a happy chappy.  But to quote Alex Ferguson "football bloody hell".  Howey got city's first and Wiekens got the second.  Lee Bowyer got Leeds goal and despite an onslaught from Leeds in the second half City's defence held out.

It seems there are shocks all round, Bradford were at home to Arsenal and guess what - Bradford got a 1 - 1 draw!  Arsenal again seem to lack the consistency it takes to try to keep up with United.

Leeds will get a consolation review - they drew with Coventry 0 - 0, it seems they can't cope with a few injuries which I can only surmise that they will finish 5th to 6th (at best.)

The mighty Liverpool got a 3 - 2 win against Man. City.  Owen got the first with Hamann getting the other two.  Weah and Horlock getting the two for City.

Man. United were at home to Sunderland and we were pretty good.  Scholes got two and Sheringham the other.   Again Utd. at times were awesome.  At one nil up United seemed to take the foot off the pedal, and as soon as Sunderland tried to up the tempo, United (as they do a lot) seemed to me to think "we'd better do something about this" and put the game beyond them.  The result 3 - 0 United.  Well done boys!!!!
