Well Dwight Yorke came up with the goods this week, a hat-trick against Derby.  I don't know about you but it all looked a bit dodgy after the first 15-20 minutes into the second half, but United being United thought after their equaliser 'I suppose we had better step it up a gear' and to their credit they did.

Emile Heskey finally joined the 'Scouse Gits' and earned his team a penalty although a point is just not good enough.  Is Emile Heskey's move to Liverpool a good move one for him?  I'm not sure.  If the scousers decide to keep both Fowler and Owen, when they are both fit is Heskey going to be a sub man?  Then again you could say the same about Solskjear and Sheringham.

Leeds won against Roma to put them in the quarter finals in the EUFA cup.  From what I saw they were a tad fortunate but again a decent performance from them.

Chelsea won against Marseilles to put them top of their group but only by goal difference.  How far will they go in the Champions League?  Not much further in my opinion.

Arsenal lost today against Middlesborough.  I bit of a shock result, so I think for this season, Arsenal can forget it.  Maybe a European place but that's all.  It is not like Arsenal to lose these so called 'easy teams'. Is there a problem at Highbury?  Is their defence too old?  Are Overmars, Petit and Vieira thinking the grass is greener?

Leeds won against Bradford today to keep them four points behind us.  Not a convincing victory and Bradford could consider themselves a little unlucky.  I think maybe in a year or two (assuming they can keep hold of the players) they may have a chance of winning the Premier League.

I can't forget to write about George Best.  He has been hospitalised, presumably 'cos his liver can't take any more!  Well - hope all goes well for him.  After all he's red through and through!!
